Apple Music may be down, but that doesn't mean it should freeze up the entire iOS app and make it unusable offline too—right? Right?!

The App Store and iTunes last experienced difficulty in March, when millions of users were left unable to download apps and music after users reported issues logging into their iCloud accounts. Apple said at the time the issue was caused by an internal DNS error.
MTV was due to announce the nominees for its Video Music Awards (VMAs) during Beats 1, Apple Music's digital radio station hosted by former Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe, shortly before the outage.
